Vacation internship

​

Registration periods:

• January Internship - September of the previous year

• July Internship - April of the year in question

​

Registration for the next internship (January/2025) are closed.​

​

Internship period: January 6 to January 31, 2025

​

Application period: October 2 to 16, 2025

​

Target Audience:

• Undergraduate students from the Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, and Biology courses;

• Postgraduate students.

​

Interesting requirements for candidates: Have interest in research, laboratory, and conservation of wild animals.

​

​            The internship consists of practical activities (captive management, ecological study techniques in the field, genetics laboratory, and animal reproduction laboratory) and theoretical activities (basic classes on our areas of activity and presentation of our projects) with a focus on research and conservation of neotropical deer.

​

We do not provide scholarships, food, or lodging.

 

 

1. Application Instructions:

A Google Form, available available at the link in our Instagram bio (@nupecce) must be filled out, and ONE document in PDF format must be attached to it, joining the following documents:

:

• Duly completed Curriculum Form (FCP) (available for download here and also at our Instagram bio). 

• Complete school records (including failures);

The file should be named after the candidate's name. Eg: John_​Smith_Form

 

Send the documents until the last day of registration of the month of interest for the internship.

2. Selection Criteria:

The selection is carried out in two phases:

1. Analysis of documents submitted by all candidates

2. Interview (online for people from outside Jaboticabal; in person for FCAV students) for the pre-selected.

 

The conviction for the second phase will be made by email and scheduled in the month of December/May.

Curricular internship
​

The completion of the curricular internship is possible only for the vacation internship period. To do it, the student must go through the voluntary internship selection process, and inform in the e-mail that he/she wants to transform the voluntary internship into a curricular one. If approved for the internship, the procedures for the necessary documentation begin.
