Largest Deer Conservation Center in Latin America 

    Founded and located at the São Paulo State University (UNESP), Campus of Jaboticabal - São Paulo, NUPECCE is one of the world's leading centers for research and conservation of Neotropical deer species. It develops projects in the areas of ecology, reproduction, endocrinology animal genetics, environmental education and captive and wildlife management. It participates in the development of legal instruments and public policies aimed at the conservation and maintenance of several species of deer occurring in Brasil and in other countries in Latin America.
